Today, we will learn how to use the structure “V+来/去,” an essential
part of HSK 3 grammar. This pattern is used to indicate the direction
of an action, ‘来’ indicates the direction towards the speaker and ‘去’
the direction is away from the speaker.
Grammar Structure:
V+来/去
This structure signifies the direction of the action.
Examples :
1. 我的手机在你的旁边,请你拿来。( my phone is next to you,
please bring it.)
2. 你等图书馆里,我马上进来。(you wait in the library, i’ll come in
right away.)
3. 请你们的汉语书拿出来。(please take out your books.)
4. 妈妈告诉我,你出去买水果。(mother asked me to go and buy
fruits.)
5. 你回教室去等我叫你。(go back to the classroom and wait for me
to call you.)
Exceptions :-
⇒If the object is a place, it should be precede “来/去” .
⇒ if the object is a thing , it can be put before or after “来/去”.
Example:-
1. 你上楼去见面王经理。(you go upstairs to meet Mr. Wang.)
2. 帮我搬来桌子在厨房里。( help me move the table in the kitchen.)
