HSK 2.1 Course: Elementary Level Chinese
The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) is the official Chinese language proficiency test, widely accepted for non-native speakers aiming to work, study, or live in Mandarin-speaking regions. The HSK 2.1 course is the first half of the elementary-level HSK 2 curriculum. It focuses on strengthening your Mandarin foundation by expanding your vocabulary and improving your sentence structure, preparing you for conversational fluency at a higher level.
HSK Level 2 is ideal for individuals interested in basic communication for everyday tasks. For more advanced career or academic goals, progressing to HSK Level 4 and above is highly recommended.
What You’ll Learn From This Course
Upon completing the HSK 2.1 Elementary Mandarin Course, students will :
- Learn an additional 100 words, building on the vocabulary acquired in HSK 1 (half of the total 150 words required for HSK 2).
- Master 100 more Chinese characters, increasing writing and reading fluency.

- Grasp 20 key grammar points that enable more complex sentence structures compared to HSK 1.

Note: The HSK 2.1 course covers the first half of the HSK Level 2 curriculum. Upon completion, students can progress to HSK 2.2 to complete their preparation for the HSK Level 2 exam.
